Fentimans x The Roses Competition: Terms & Conditions
1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excludes northern
Ireland residents, employees of Fentimans Ltd or Searchlight UK, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw. Fentimans Ltd is the sole “Promoter” of this prize draw.
2. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. The Promoter reserves the
right to refuse entries which it reasonably suspects could cause offence.
3. All entries must be submitted by following @Fentimansltd and @SearchlightUK on Instagram, liking the competition post, and tag 1 friend in the comments of the competition post.
4. The opening date for entries is Tuesday 12 August 2025. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on Thursday 21st August 2025. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a
technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite,
network or server failure of any kind.
6. One winner (Chosen name) will be selected at random by The Promoter via a generator and winner will be notified by DM from the Fentimans Instagram account on Friday 22nd August 2025 ("Draw Date").
7. The winner will receive:
- 2 tickets to the UK Premiere of The Roses on Thursday 28 August 2025 in London.
- 1 night’s 4-star hotel accommodation in London, based on sharing a double occupancy room, with breakfast.
- Return standard class train travel from closest UK train station to London.
- Return station transfers in London, UK.
8. The winner will be notified by DM from the @Fentimansltd Instagram account and must
provide an email address and phone number to claim their prize, your data will only
be held for the purpose of informing you if you have won the competition and will be deleted within 2 weeks of the end of the competition.
9. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 2 days of the Promoter’s
DM, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select
another winner in accordance with the process described above.
10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative
is offered.
11. Accommodation is based on one night in one double occupancy room for two adults at a 4* hotel in London, with breakfast.
12. Accommodations do not include any other meals, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip, these will be the responsibility of the Recipients.
13. A credit or debit card for incidentals may be requested by the accommodation at check in and therefore at least one of the Recipients must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card.
14. Accommodations will be selected by Prize Provider at their sole discretion.
15. Prize Package is for 2 adults, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary.
16. At least one person must be aged 18 or over; Where any persons are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission.
17. Prize takes place on set dates from 28th-29th August 2025, it is winner’s responsibility to be available to travel over these dates.
18. The prize excludes meals and drinks, rental car, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package.
19. Where applicable, any modifications to the prize will be at the winner's own expense.
20. The prize is supplied by Searchlight UK.
21. The decision of the Promoter (under the supervision of the independent person where
the decision relates to the random draw) regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final
and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
22. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a
valid award took place.
23. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and
conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to
award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion
where it becomes necessary to do so.
25. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any
circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability
for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize
except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or
that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
26. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any
entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within
the courts in the United Kingdom.
