At Fentimans, our values guide how we work. Over the coming months, our Values champions will help us revisit each of our values in turn, with short workshops. Today’s value was “Innovative.”
As a group, we explored what Innovation means to us. Using Haidt’s Elephant and Rider metaphor, a useful approach to get us all thinking about behavioural change, a couple of volunteers from the team demonstrated how adopting a new approach can bring a different impact in the simple task of “getting the elephant from one location to another.”
We were reminded that being innovative doesn’t always need to bring huge organisational impact and that each of us can make small changes in the things we do every day. A fantastic start to this series of workshops.
