Our Book Club meet regularly over lunchtime. We choose a book and the group agree a time period for the coming weeks to read it, before coming back together at lunch to review it. This month the genre is Science Fiction selected by our random genre generator and our chosen book is Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
Uprooted takes us to a society haunted by the Wood, a malevolent place that takes the ones they love. Agnieszka our heroine has grown up in its shadow and when she finds herself in a wizards tower it begins her epic adventure.
